Free lunch time period followed by a guided tour of the city of Florence. - The perfume of the Walls of Lucca - a bicycle ride around of the city's walls to discover the perfume especially created for Princess Elisa Bonaparte, Napoleon's sister, and visit of Lucca's Botanical Garden followed by lunch in a typical "Trattoria" within the walls. - Pistoia the city of Music - The artistic heritage of the organ is one that Pistoia takes very good care of, from the organ of the Fleming Willem Hermans, 1664, in the church of Santo Spirito in Pistoia to the organs of the Agati-Tronci school that can be found in many of the region's churches. From the 1700's to the early 1900's, two families of craftsmen were producing organs in Pistoia, the Agati and the Tronci. The quality of their instruments gave rise to a school of organ-making in Pistoia, known in many countries both in Europe and around the world. The "Fondazione Accademia di musica italiana per organo" in Pistoia keeps this tradition alive while also promoting this musical culture. Guided tour of the churches followed by the visit to the TRONCI Foundation that recently opened to the public with its collection of percussion instruments from Africa and antic theatrical machines. - Discovering the regional products : Guided tour of the "Centro sperimentale della Castanicoltura dell'Appennino Tosco-Emiliano", from the farming to the transformation of chestnuts followed by the visit to a local Brewery. The beer made in this small brewery is characterized by an excellent ingredient: the chestnut. A small beer tasting will follow. Lunch(barbecue) in a nearby Farm where you will taste the Region specialties "Cinta Senese" (pork) and "Chianina" (beef) with the possibility of purchasing their products. TASTING SESSIONS Guided Tuscan Wine and extra virgin oil tasting sessions: The wine & oil tasting session will be take place in a nearby Farmhouse that will guide you in discovering the pleasure of tasting regional and national wines of Italian tradition as well as the delights of the Tuscan extra virgin oil which is an integral part of the region's territory. The tasting will be accompanied with some local cheeses and typical Tuscan canapés (crostini).
